Biography of the Artist

Carolyn Riegelman has been a professional artist since 1985.
While her primary work is in abstraction, the main focus is on
design and color, dealing with the mystery of the unknown.

Being a layerist, her paintings evolve making the
journey spontaneous. Intuitive painting
makes rooms for surprises revealing images of
where she is in her life, or perhaps going in the future.

Carolyn began working in oils in high school,
then on to college where she majored in art.

Carolyn has exhibited in numerous juried competitions.
She has been featured in many solo shows and is presently represented
by the Edmund Craig Gallery in Ft. Worth, Texas, & Art Gallery in Austin, 1550 Gallery in Kerrville, Texas
and the A Creative Art Studio.
Her work is in many private and corporate collections.

Carolyn specializes in personal commission work.
 She regularly consults in client's
homes and businesses,
designing for their personality and interior.
